13262 First National Bank in PRESCOTT

Pictured here in a 1929 film still, The First National Bank in Prescott set up shop in the same building that had been the The Prescott National Bank 12 years earlier.

1928 - Chartered in December with $100,000 Capital
1933 - Voluntarily Liquidated March 25th, Capital $100,000
Absorbed by the Valley Bank and Trust Company

Check from early 1932

This bank issued elected not to issue large, and its miniscule issue of small was issued only for a brief period in late 1932 - early 1933. As of 2019, 14 notes are officially known, but 12 of those are from two serial #1 sheets (a cut $10 and an uncut $5) Two circulated notes are also known, a $5 last hammering at auction $9000 in 2009, and a $10 at $4300 in 2019. By the way, the $5 pictured here I believe would be a new addition.
