1937 - Liquidated, acquired by Valley National Bank of Phoenix

An illusive bank, set up in an impressive building located at 10th and 'G', this bank lasted thru the end of the note-issuing period. It did not elect to issue small size, and its large size examples are scarce to rare with high demand, from Arizona collectors and even the occaisional "name" collector as well - Good Luck!
Ad from Coast Banker (1917)

In 1937, First National merged into Valley National, which later merged into Bank One, then Chase. Today, a more modern branch stands at the original site.
